Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong understanding and application of GAAP.
• Knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead teams through change.
• High proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Access.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a high-volume, changing environment.
• Ability to maintain efficient and effective financial systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and related analyses.
• Review complex accounting reconciliations and analyses.
• Direct general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation, fixed assets, and related capex accounting.
• Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements.
• Lead teams through change and maintain GL integrity.
• Ensure internal controls are sound and SOX compliant.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as required.
• Coordinate schedules for internal/external audits.
