Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls; SOX compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Proficient in Excel; working knowledge of Access and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates with staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities.
• Perform and review complex accounting reconciliations and analyses.
• Direct general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation, fixed assets and capital expenditure accounting teams.
• Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements and resource efficiency.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and sound internal controls.
• Prepare schedules for internal/external auditors and support audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
