Job summary

Wonder is seeking an Accounting Manager to strengthen the accounting function, ensuring accuracy across the general ledger and balance sheet. You will own close processes, reconciliations, and internal controls, partnering with cross-functional teams to support reliable accounting operations.

This hands-on role requires strong GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with large datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• Active CPA license required.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting background plus industry experience preferred.
• Experience with GAAP and ERP systems (Netsuite), advanced Excel, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Public company experience or controllership/operational accounting background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute components of month-end close, including journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with audit requests.
• Apply US GAAP to routine and non-routine transactions; document conclusions.
• Support cross-functional teams and drive process improvements in workflows and systems.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist with ASC 606 assessments and accounting for ad-supported streaming, advertising revenue, and related areas.
