Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting supervisor to manage monthly close, financial reporting, and internal controls in a high‑volume environment in Atlanta.

You will coach staff, ensure GAAP and SOX compliance, leverage Excel and SAP, and partner with auditors, banks, and vendors to deliver accurate, timely statements.

Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities are essential; CPA and MBA are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and application.
• Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including staffing, training, coaching and performance management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
• Perform complex reconciliations and analysis of accounts.
• Direct general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation and fixed assets tasks.
• Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements.
• Lead teams through change while maintaining internal control integrity.
• Prepare schedules for internal/external auditors and support audits.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses and reports.
