Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close tasks, including journal entries, general ledger reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting and ad hoc analyses for senior management
• Research complex accounting issues and new standards, write position papers, and present findings to the Controller and CFO
• Mentor and review the work of staff accountants, and partner with internal and external auditors to keep audits running smoothly

This person will own key pieces of monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP reporting while acting as a go-to accounting resource for stores and corporate departments. Its a hybrid schedule with four days in the office and work-from-home Fridays, and the team is heading into an Oracle go-live in March.
