Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks a Senior Accountant / Shared Services Manager in Lehi, Utah. The role oversees Payroll, AR, AP, Treasury, and cash management, while also performing hands-on accounting duties as needed.

Reporting to the Divisional Controller, this onsite leadership position aims to strengthen controls, improve processes, and drive financial operations success in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of finance operations experience, preferably in a shared services environment.
• Experience with payroll operations and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Payroll, AP, AR, Collections, and Treasury.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience; Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• AP automation or process improvement experience is a plus.
• Must be available to work 100% onsite in Lehi, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for Payroll, AR, AP, Treasury, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Operations, and other departments.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll accruals, and treasury activities during month-end and year-end close.
• Manage banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and treasury functions.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Mentor and guide team members, with potential for direct reports as the department grows.
• Provide hands-on support during month-end close and peak periods.
