Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in the Phoenix area is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to own the company’s accounting operations, close process, and financial reporting. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 1+ year of professional accounting experience or three+ years overall.
• Experience leading a team and managing month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, and cash management.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Own both ledgers and the complete monthly close process.
• Prepare and review monthly P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.
• Review reconciliations, coding accuracy, and bank activities.
• Oversee AP/AR, vendor management, and cash management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Develop and enforce accounting controls, SOPs, and process improvements.
