Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows.
• Lead the month-end close process for multiple divisions.
• Reconcile all accounts to the General Ledger accurately and timely.
• Maintain supporting documentation and adjustGL entries as needed.
• Assist with inventory reconciliations and month-end inventory processes.
• Track and report daily/weekly cash activities and validate Treasury reports.
• Maintain fixed asset records and manage acquisitions/disposals.
• Prepare business personal property tax and sales tax filings across jurisdictions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and payroll tax journal entries with HR.
• Support accounting for farm operations and collections; ensure policy compliance.

About the Role

Symbiotic Services is seeking a detail-oriented Senior StaffAccountant to support our client's Accounting and Finance team. This roleis instrumental in managing revenue recognition, financial reporting, generalledger maintenance, budgeting, and more. The ideal candidate will be a highlyorganized self-starter with strong analytical skills and a deep understandingof GAAP.

This position will partner with Office Managers and operations staff, andreports directly to the Divisional Controller.

Key Responsibilities
