Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of finance operations experience, preferably in a shared services environment.
• Experience with payroll operations and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Payroll, AP, AR, Collections, and Treasury.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience; Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• AP automation or process improvement experience is a plus.
• Must be available to work 100% onsite in Lehi, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide team members, with potential for direct reports as the department grows.
• Provide hands-on support during month-end close and peak periods.

Senior Accountant / Shared Services Manager

Lehi, Utah | $90,000/year | 100% Onsite

Reports to: Divisional Controller

Seeking a Senior Accountant / Shared Services Manager to oversee key financial operations including Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Cash Management.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an accounting professional who enjoys managing processes while also being willing to roll up their sleeves and handle the details when needed. This position is 100% onsite in Lehi, Utah and offers the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen controls, and make a direct impact on the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for Payroll, AR, AP, Treasury, and Bank Reconciliations
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
• Partner with HR, Finance, Operations, and other departments
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll accruals, and treasury activities during month-end and year-end close

Payroll

• Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing
• Review payroll reports, earnings, deductions, taxes, and compliance
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconciliations

Accounts Receivable & Collections

• Monitor AR aging and lead collection activities
• Follow up on outstanding balances
• Resolve billing discrepancies with Sales and Customer Service
• Manage customer payments and unapplied cash
• Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger
• Prepare AR and collections reporting to support cash flow planning

Accounts Payable

• Oversee invoice intake, coding, matching, approvals, and payments
• Manage vendor records, W-9s, and 1099 reporting
• Reconcile AP aging and resolve discrepancies
• Partner with Procurement and Operations on PO and invoice issues
• Process AP accruals and support audits

Treasury & Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash positions and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Manage bank transfers and internal cash movements
• Oversee bank reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support corporate banking relationships
• Administer corporate credit cards and employee expense reimbursements
• Provide weekly cash and liquidity reporting to leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of finance operations experience, preferably in a shared services environment
• Experience with payroll operations and compliance
• Strong knowledge of Payroll, AP, AR, Collections, and Treasury
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP experience; Sage Intacct is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• AP automation or process improvement experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a hands-on role
• Must be available to work 100% onsite in Lehi, Utah

Salary: $90,000 annually
