Job summary

Helios Technologies in the MCT division seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee complex accounting across multiple entities. You will manage month-end close, intercompany activities, and project accounting, supporting audits and process improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills, with potential growth into broader leadership responsibilities within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in multi-entity manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple entities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Analyze financial results and variances in balance sheet and income statements.
• Ensure timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and consolidation support.
• Track capital expenditures and project accounting initiatives.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
• Lead accounting automation and ERP improvements.
