Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Accountant to support daily, weekly and monthly accounting duties in accordance with GAAP. The role includes managing fixed assets records, depreciation, and disposals, and ensuring timely financial reporting.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate asset data and participate in month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• One to three years of related experience in a team environment.
• Strong Excel experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes and related GAAP reporting.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure asset capitalization data is accurate.
• Reconcile construction in progress and asset-related ledgers.
• Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations; respond to inquiries.
