Job summary

Rotech Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen our revenue accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes for DME and home healthcare services. You will ensure accurate revenue recognition across Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and patient-pay streams.

Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Billing, and Operations to analyze trends, enhance controls, and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum of three years of revenue accounting experience.
• Experience with healthcare reimbursement, revenue cycle accounting, or related financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze revenue transactions to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate recognition.
• Monitor revenue recognition for rentals, sales, service revenue, and reimbursements.
• Support financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Billing, and Operations to resolve discrepancies.
