Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks a Fixed Asset Accountant to own the fixed asset lifecycle, handle depreciation, and ensure asset data accuracy across ERP systems. You will contribute to month-end close and asset-related reporting.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 2+ years fixed asset experience, and strong Excel skills. U.S. GAAP knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to fixed asset accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of depreciation and asset transfers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset records and ensure accurate asset tracking across financial systems.
• Process monthly depreciation and prepare related journal entries.
• Reconcile fixed asset balances to the general ledger and resolve variances.
• Manage asset disposals, transfers, and reclassifications, including CIP-to-fixed asset transfers.
• Prepare monthly fixed asset reconciliations and reporting schedules.
• Support financial reporting by maintaining accurate asset data and documentation.
