Job summary

Koch Capabilities seeks a Senior Accountant to own complex intercompany debt, legal transactions, and restructuring support. You will drive accurate US GAAP reporting, month-end close, and scalable processes in a cross-functional setting.

This role partners with Tax, Legal, Treasury, and business stakeholders to implement robust controls and innovative workflows, including automation and AI-enabled analytics. Opportunities span multiple Koch businesses.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement through education or professional experience.
• Experience managing multiple accounting priorities and meeting established deadlines.
• Experience working within a team environment to identify issues, implement solutions, and meet established deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including logical and lookup formulas, pivot tables, and formatting.
• Professional experience in an accounting related role, increasing in responsibilities and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting responsibilities for dynamic intercompany debt structures, ensuring debt facts, calculations, and compliance requirements are properly reported and maintained.
• Execute timely and accurate month-end close, US GAAP and management reporting, and forecast activities while meeting regulatory, Koch policy, and stakeholder requirements.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements across intercompany debt and specialized accounting workflows using Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, automation, and analytics to increase efficiency and reduce risks.
• Provide accounting support for complex business transactions, including legal entity restructurings, mergers, liquidations, contributions, distributions, debt activities, and acquisition-related transactions.
• Strengthen the control environment by identifying risks, designing and documenting effective controls and reconciliations, and maintaining accounting procedures through business change.
