Job summary

Koch Capabilities is seeking a Senior Accountant to own complex intercompany debt and specialized accounting activities in Lisle, IL. The role drives accurate reporting, strong controls, and scalable processes across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include month-end close, forecasting, and coordinating with Tax, Legal, Treasury, and business stakeholders to finalize accounting conclusions and implementation plans.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement.
• Experience managing multiple accounting priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Experience working in a team to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and formatting.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting responsibilities for intercompany debt structures and ensure accurate reporting.
• Execute month-end close, US GAAP reporting, and forecasts on time.
• Identify and implement process improvements using Copilot, AI, automation and analytics.
• Provide accounting support for complex transactions including restructurings, mergers and acquisitions.
• Strengthen controls and reconciliations and document procedures.
