Topgolf Payroll Services seeks a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. You will help produce accurate financial statements, manage general ledger activities, and support month-end close, audits, and intercompany reconciliation.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate across venues, finance, and management. This on-site position in Dallas offers growth and exposure to global Topgolf operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 2+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities and exposure to technical accounting issues.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP and ability to apply technical accounting issues to reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Ability to work with various software and reporting systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of financial data requirements to implement new programs and maintain controls.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects; adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and external auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Provide accounting support for month-end close activities, including prepaids, accruals, analysis, and inquiries.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and identify accruals for various expense accounts.
• Review contracts and apply ASC 842 for new installations/renewals.
• Coordinate with UK and Sweden associates on revenue and cost recording; update management on monthly results.
• Support quarterly and annual audits, including schedule prep and sample selection requests.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for each period/quarter.
• Serve as accounting contact for venue operations for assigned venues.
• Monitor and resolve intercompany discrepancies.
• Analyze fluctuations vs prior year/month and budget; recommend improvements.
