Job summary

Topgolf is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the accounting group. You will assist with day-to-day AP tasks, ensure timely payments, and support intercompany invoicing while maintaining GAAP-aligned records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and uphold policy compliance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, vendor communication, and process improvements to support Topgolf's growing venues and enterprise operations.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of basic accounting principles with prior work experience in Accounts Payable.
• Familiarity working in a high-volume and inventory-intensive environment.
• Demonstrated spreadsheet, word processing, and data entry PC proficiency.
• Strong mathematical aptitude with experience and proficiency working with numbers.
• Strong detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy in work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure invoice payments are processed and paid within agreed-upon terms, including intercompany invoices.
• Work with AP and internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Aid in troubleshooting invoices pending in queue.
• Investigate vendor statements and collection letters, contacting vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Monitor invoices in queue and exceptions to identify performance issues.
