Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5 years of accounting experience required.
• Combination of public and industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Direct experience with monthly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting contact for operations and branch leaders, providing accounting support and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements delivering clear insights into financial performance.
• Process and monitor complex journal entries ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly allocations to all branches and validate intercompany transactions for balanced reporting across entities.
• Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, identifying variances and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with senior management and accounting teams to communicate financial results clearly.
• Manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet reporting requirements.
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries with timely, accurate support.
• Contribute to system and process enhancements, including ERP upgrades and automation initiatives.
