Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the monthly close, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting.

You will prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and analyze P&L variances while supporting internal controls and automation efforts.

In collaboration with AP, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A, you will assist external auditors and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP; ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Close books monthly in accordance with GAAP; prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze period-over-period results and explain variances.
• Automate and improve manual processes; contribute to internal controls.
• Assist auditors during year-end financial statement audit.
