Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger management, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and reconciliations in a manufacturing environment. You will partner with operations, sales, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial records and strong internal controls.

The role emphasizes accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and continuous process improvements, including SAP enhancements and cost accounting support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting.
• Experience with general ledger, trial balance, month-end close, fixed assets and depreciation.
• Experience supporting audits and tax-related requests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger, trial balance, and month-end close process.
• Review and resolve accounting discrepancies across A/P, A/R, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, amortization, and CIP tracking.
• Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, and variance analysis.
• Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support revenue recognition and billing accuracy.
• Assist with tax requests, audits, and financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support SAP enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
