Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant with SAP experience to ensure accurate financial reporting under US GAAP. You will partner with Operations, Sales and Finance to analyze performance, manage journal entries, and support monthly close.

The role involves inventory valuation, cost analysis, intercompany transactions, and ERP system improvements in a manufacturing environment. Strong Excel skills and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP ERP system.
• Strong understanding of standard cost, manufacturing variances and cost analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, LOOKUPs).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intercompany transactions, reconcile AR/AP balances and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare journal entries related to inventory and finance activities; reconcile inventory and GL accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and reporting.
• Review freight, customs, and inventory-related costs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with cost analysis, variances and standard cost maintenance.
• Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
