Job summary

Insight Global in Charlotte, NC is seeking a hands-on Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger management, fixed assets, and inventory accounting in a manufacturing environment. You will partner with operations, sales, procurement and finance to ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and timely reporting, with SAP S/4HANA FI/CO experience and IFRS/SOX exposure.

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• SAP experience (S/4HANA FI/CO preferred).
• IFRS knowledge and familiarity with SOX/internal controls.
• Experience supporting audits and tax-related requests.
• Experience with international entities and manufacturing accounting.

Overview

Seeking a hands‑on Accountant to support month‑end close, general ledger management, fixed assets, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with operations, sales, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

Own the general ledger, trial balance, and month‑end close process.

Review and resolve accounting discrepancies across A/P, A/R, inventory, and fixed assets.

Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, amortization, and CIP tracking.

Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, and variance analysis.

Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.

Support revenue recognition and billing accuracy.

Assist with tax requests, audits, and financial reporting.

Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Support SAP enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

5+ years of accounting experience.

SAP experience
