Job summary

Big Ass Fans is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the monthly close, consolidate financials, and ensure SOX compliance. You will manage fixed asset accounting, cash reporting, and sales tax processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Global Controller and offers opportunities for process improvement and cross-functional collaboration within a growing global business. A bachelor's degree in accounting and manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent education and experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and meeting critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the month-end close/consolidation process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Perform fixed asset accounting and prepare monthly analyses of account changes.
• Provide daily cash reporting and prepare state and local sales tax returns.
