Job summary

Risus Talent Partners seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team in a manufacturing and distribution environment. You’ll own month-end close, GL accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysis while partnering with finance and operations.

Qualifications

3+ years of progressive accounting experience with GL and month-end close.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
Advanced Excel skills and ERP/financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

Manage key month-end and year-end close activities.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, allocations, and other adjustments.
Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, schedules, and management reporting.
Analyze variances to budget and forecasts.
Support inventory accounting including adjustments and cycle counts.
Partner with operations to improve margin and profitability reporting.
Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and automation.
Provide backup support across AP, AR, billing, cash application, and collections.
