Lumistry is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the full cost side of the ledger and drive a tight 5-day close. You will partner with the Controller and be a key contributor to a lean, high-accountability finance team in a remote-first environment.

This role covers cost accounting, AP/ramp ownership, intercompany reconciliations, and board-ready reporting. Collaboration with FP&A and HR/Payroll is essential, with opportunities to improve processes at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience.
• NetSuite experience required; Ramp or comparable platform is a strong plus.
• Solid grasp of US GAAP, especially accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.
• Proven track record in a fast close environment (5 days or fewer).
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
• Fluent in a remote-work setting with proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: execute all close tasks within a 5-business-day close calendar.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly with full documentation.
• Deliver flux analysis and support variance explanations for board review.
• Own intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset subledger maintenance.
• Maintain chart of accounts integrity and run standard/net reports.
• Collaborate with FP&A, HR/Payroll and Controller on ad hoc analyses.
