Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior to join our CAAS group supporting our Higher Education Industry based out of our Oak Brook IL, King of Prussia PA, Austin TX, Houston TX, or Minneapolis MN office.

Responsibilities include client service, daily processing of transactions, month-end reconciliations, and supervising Associates. The role also covers tax workpapers and special projects, with requirements of 2 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Client service: Understands client operations and manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
• Day to day: coordinates and processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll postings.
• Month end: coordinates reconciliations and reviews financial statements; prepares and reviews general ledger and cashflow.
• Other quarterly/annual: completes tax forms and audit workpapers as requested.
• Oversee workflow: supervise Associates and Analysts ensuring quality of work.
• Special projects: assists with internal audit, due diligence, system selection and other consultative projects.
