CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) seeks a Senior to join our CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) group supporting the Higher Education industry across Oak Brook IL, King of Prussia PA, Austin TX, Houston TX, or Minneapolis MN.

The position involves leading client accounting work, managing associates, and coordinating complex financial processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and project delivery within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of each client's business operations and manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
• Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll postings.
• Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, AR, fixed assets, etc.) and prepares financial statements.
• Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers and tax workpapers as requested by clients.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts; supervise and ensure efficiency and quality.
• Assists with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
