Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. You will manage tax and related engagements, supervise staff, and help build client relationships with minimal supervision.

The role offers remote or hybrid possibilities depending on business needs and requires a bachelor's in accounting/finance and 1–3 years of public accounting experience; CPA progress is encouraged and CPA license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 1–3 years in public accounting or equivalent experience.
• Ability to sit for the CPA exam or have a CPA license; license a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage engagements.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to firm profitability.
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants.
• Identify and address potential issues during engagements.
