Job summary

Orbiss is seeking an Accountant and Advisory Senior to manage a client portfolio from bookkeeping to year-end closing, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, P&L analysis and supporting schedules.

You will deliver timely accounting reports, detect inaccuracies, propose improvements to accounting systems, support intercompany reconciliation and consolidation, and mentor junior staff while upholding high standards of accuracy and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in an accounting firm.
• Strong technical accounting skills: bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journal entries, P&L analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio from bookkeeping to year-end closing, including bank reconciliation, closing journal entries, P&L analysis, and supporting schedules.
• Create timely and accurate accounting reports on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
• Detect inaccuracies and investigate account discrepancies; propose improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
• Manage intercompany reconciliation and participate in consolidation processes.
• Support junior team members and provide mentorship.
• Ensure compliance and precision in all tasks.
