Direct Luxury Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage multi‑company accounting. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial records, inventory, and timely processing using QuickBooks and Webgility.

The successful candidate will handle AR/AP, payroll, and monthly closings while coordinating with department heads across multiple entities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years in a similar role, construction industry a plus.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks and Excel; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle AR/AP, process bills, enter purchase orders, and manage vendor relations.
  • Maintain chart of accounts and an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Oversee payroll processing and multi‑company accounting in QuickBooks.
  • Operate Webgility and ensure integration with QuickBooks and platforms.
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports and perform reconciliations.
  • Communicate with vendors, employees, and management as needed.

Senior Accountant

Department: Accounting

Reports to: CEO

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Multi-Company Accounting Specialist to manage accounting operations for multiple companies. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks and Webgility experience, payroll processing skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial, inventory, and accounting records while meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • AR/AP
    • Ensure that accounts payables are paid in a timely manner, and that all reasonable discounts are taken
    • Enter bills and ensure purchase orders are being used
    • Ensure that accounts receivables are collected promptly
    • Ensure bank deposits are made, and that monthly bank reconciliations are completed
    • Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
    • Maintain the chart of accounts
    • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
    • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
  • Manage day-to-day accounting for multiple companies using QuickBooks.
  • Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the vendor and /or employees.
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records and reconciliations.
  • Manage Webgility and ensure accurate integration with QuickBooks and sales platforms.
  • Maintain and reconcile accurate inventory records across all companies.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial and management reports.
  • Perform bank, credit card, inventory, payroll, and account reconciliations.
  • Review transactions for accuracy and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Works with department heads to manage the use of all company credit cards. Maintain, and utilize credit cards in AP process for best benefit, and least amount of interest incurred.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Communicate with vendors, employees, management, and outside accounting professionals as needed.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Experience
  • 3 or more years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Highly proficient in QuickBooks
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to focus on tedious tasks, such as data input, under stressful conditions
  • Proven ability to solve problems; must possess excellent analytical skills

Location: Houston TX, not remote

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 + health benefits
