BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Sr. Account Manager for Northern California to lead field-based commercial efforts for Galafold and Pombiliti Opfolda. Ideal location: Bay Area (SF, Oakland, San Jose) with reporting to Sales Director, Metabolic Conditions.

The role drives demand, identifies patients, and ensures optimal treatment by engaging with specialists in Fabry and Pompe diseases, coordinating with cross-functional partners to maximize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or rare disease sales experience.
• Proven track record of driving sales performance in complex markets.
• Strong account management and territory planning capabilities.
• Experience engaging with specialty HCPs and navigating treatment pathways.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan aligned with brand strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and accounts; deliver compliant product education.
• Identify patients and develop market opportunities for Fabry and Pompe diseases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Coordinators, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Marketing.
• Provide field insights to inform brand strategy, messaging, and resource allocation.
• Maintain CRM records and forecasts; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
