Job summary

American Global in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead our Surety team. You will serve as the primary client contact for day-to-day bonding questions, build strong relationships with business partners, carriers, and stakeholders, and oversee data quality across Epic, Erlon, and OneDrive.

The role requires strong property and casualty knowledge, at least five years of industry experience, and proven ability to present to clients.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
• Proven ability to present information clearly to clients.
• Ability to explain problems and suggest solutions to colleagues and supervisors.
• Data entry experience and proficiency with MS Office.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact for day-to-day bonding questions
• Build and promote relationships with business partners, carriers and stakeholders
• Quality control data in Epic, Erlon, and OneDrive including client data, surety contacts, bonds, rates, commissions
• Communicate with clients and underwriters through the request process, including underwriting materials
• Respond to accounting and invoice issues with timely adjustments
• Oversee Account Associate work for accuracy and quality
• Assist in creating proposals and presentations
• Compile/approve submissions and deliver to underwriters; respond to inquiries
• Review client financials and aging schedules
• Conduct in-depth data analyses
• Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting appetites and markets
• Additional responsibilities as required
