We are seeking a driven and dynamic Strategic Account Manager with deep experience in the Insurance industry to join our team. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder, fluent in insurance domain language, and has a proven track record of growing accounts and closing strategic technology deals. This role requires a blend of industry insight, strategic thinking, and strong execution capabilities to expand our footprint within key insurance accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage confidently with clients using insurance‑specific terminology.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of industry trends, digital transformation, and regulatory shifts impacting the insurance sector (P&C, Life, Health, etc.).
- Identify client pain points and map them to innovative technology solutions.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and lead proactive pursuit of new business within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities with clear plans to advance and close deals.
- Deliver consistent YoY growth across assigned portfolio.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders across all levels – from operational leads to C‑suite executives.
- Act as the trusted advisor and go‑to partner for clients, anticipating needs and solving challenges.
- Navigate complex client environments and influence decision‑making processes.
- Work closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and internal leadership to structure compelling value propositions.
- Lead contract negotiations, RFP responses, and proposal development for large, strategic deals.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful delivery and long‑term client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in client‑facing roles within technology, consulting, or services firms, focused on the Insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance workflows, terminology, and transformation themes (e.g., digital claims, underwriting automation, core platform modernization).
- Proven success in growing large enterprise accounts and selling high‑value, strategic technology or consulting deals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Self‑starter with an ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
