Job summary

Excelsior Search is seeking a top performing data solutions sales professional to drive growth in the US market, with an opportunity to influence the company’s success and enjoy an uncapped commission structure.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will lead the sale of market data, datafeeds and SaaS solutions to new and existing accounts across banks, asset managers and exchanges, in a hybrid/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Experience selling financial market data / datafeeds / data distribution / data management and/or SaaS solutions to major providers.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Ability to learn and sell new/unique solutions.
• Willingness to work in a small company environment with entrepreneurial growth.

Responsibilities

• Sell data solutions to new and existing accounts in the US market.
• Lead the sale of market data, datafeeds and SaaS solutions across clients.
• Report directly to the Head of Sales and help grow the US business.

Excelsior has been engaged to conduct a search for this innovative market data solutions provider for the financial markets, with a great global client base of investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and exchanges etc.

Reporting direct to the Head of Sales you’ll quickly become an integral member of the company and take a lead role in selling their unique suite of data solutions to both new and existing accounts. It’s a great career opportunity for someone wanting to work for a company where they’d be a "bigger fish in a smaller pond", with strong untapped sales potential and an uncapped commission structure.

Appropriate candidates will be able to show:

• Experience selling financial market data / datafeeds / data distribution / data management and/or SaaS solutions i.e. for likes of LSEG / Refinitiv, S&P / IHS Markit, Nasdaq, ICE, Bloomberg, Fitch, Moody's or similar companies etc.
• A proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• The ability to pick up solutions which are new / unique in the market.
• A willingness to work for and fit in a small company environment where an enterprising and entrepreneurial approach to helping grow the US business will be valued.

Location: New York or Boston (hybrid / remote).

Remuneration: Appropriate basic salary & commission structure to reward high sales performers.
