Job summary

AegisAI, a security startup, seeks an aggressive, high-ownership Account Executive to bring its AI-native email security platform to market. You’ll educate CISOs and security leaders, run full-cycle enterprise deals, and help shape how this category is sold.

You’ll work closely with founders, product, and marketing to connect top-of-funnel demand with enterprise, partner, and PLG-assisted sales motions, turning vision into revenue and market momentum.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise or mid-market SaaS sales experience.
• Proven track record of closing six-figure+ deals and driving pipeline.
• Comfortable selling technical, security-focused products.
• Self-starter who can prospect, run deals, and close with minimal enablement.
• Bias toward action and ability to move quickly in sales cycles.
• Strong discovery skills and translating technical value into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to close for mid-market and enterprise customers.
• Generate and close net-new pipeline, not just inbound.
• Sell to security leaders with a consultative, technical approach.
• Articulate how AI-native email security beats legacy systems.
• Partner with founders and product to influence roadmap, pricing, and positioning.
• Collaborate with marketing on messaging, campaigns, and field feedback.
• Help define early sales processes, discovery frameworks, and qualification standards.
