Are you a driven, high-energy sales professional with deep water industry roots? Our client wants you to lead the charge.

Our client is a global leader in data management and analytics solutions, empowering water and energy utilities to transform complex operational data into clear, actionable insights. With 100+ installations worldwide and expanding rapidly in the U.S., they’re seeking a hunter-style Account Executive to grow market presence and build long-term client partnerships.

This role is perfect for someone who knows the water utility landscape, thrives on territory development, and embraces the challenge of long sales cycles with high-value clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and expand a U.S. sales territory, driving new business across water utilities, consulting engineering firms, and municipal infrastructure clients
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline from prospecting through close, focusing on long-term, complex sales cycles
  • Engage directly with C-level and technical stakeholders to position our client’s solutions as must-haves for operational improvement and regulatory compliance
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings (travel approx. 5 days/month)
  • Collaborate with internal product, technical, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation
  • Provide market insights and feedback to inform sales strategy and product direction

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the water industry
  • Proven success working with municipal water utilities, engineering firms, or consultants
  • Demonstrated success in territory expansion and new account acquisition
  • A hunter mentality — self-disciplined, proactive, and relentless in pursuit of results
  • Comfortable managing long sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and high-stakes deals
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • U.S.-based with ability to travel ~5 days/month for client meetings and events
