Copeland seeks a motivated, technically skilled professional to join our Channel Services team as a Senior Account Executive. This role focuses on growing our presence in the Central Midwest HVAC industry by strengthening relationships with authorized wholesalers and contractors, particularly in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration sectors like Food Retail, Food Service, and Commercial/Residential Air Conditioning. You will drive product adoption and serve as a trusted advisor, providing excellent customer service, technical expertise, and expanding Copeland’s market share in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Achieve and surpass sales targets for assigned wholesaler locations within your territory.
  2. Provide technical support on Copeland products, including compressors and condensing units, to wholesalers and contractors.
  3. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  4. Participate in headquarters meetings, offering insights on product forecasts and contributing to sales and operations planning.
  5. Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
  6. Lead training sessions on Copeland products, enhancing technical knowledge among wholesalers and contractors.
  7. Manage customer concerns and escalate issues promptly to ensure positive experiences.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions and meet customer needs.
  9. Maintain accurate records in Salesforce regarding customers, projects, and market intelligence.
  10. Identify and develop new product opportunities to expand our market presence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Technical sales experience in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, with solid knowledge of systems and components.
  • Experience as a Refrigeration technician is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits and meetings.
  • Deep technical understanding of Copeland and competitors' products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
