The Opportunity

Gravity is looking for entrepreneurial, high-performing, experienced and ambitious Senior AEs. This role is dynamic, owning the full sales cycle to engage, educate and activate new customers who can benefit from Gravity’s carbon management and decarbonization platform. You will work hand in hand with an experienced and passionate founding and sales team to drive the rapid, scalable adoption of our climate transition platform in the sectors of the economy that need it most. If you are a competitive, curious, and a creative problem solver who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys spending time with a team inspired by tackling enormous challenges, then this is the role for you.

You will

  • Identify opportunity and drive interest. Combine a data-driven approach with an unrelenting work ethic, focusing your energy on identifying customers whose problems we can help solve and identify and articulate the trapped value we can unlock.
  • Drive revenue and exceed quota. Operate with thoughtful urgency, pushing aggressively towards and beyond quarterly revenue targets as we push to grow our impact exponentially.
  • Embrace empathy. Our customers often have a different and unique perspective on climate. We want to meet them where they are by demonstrating the powerful value of our solution, beginning a multi-year journey.
  • Operate like an owner. Creatively solve problems, find new avenues to engage customers and operate with a scrappy and “all-hands-on-deck” outlook, knowing that the path you lay today will be followed by many others tomorrow.
  • Develop expertise in both sustainability and our customers' operations. The only way we can solve the challenges our customers face is to understand their pain points and help them build better businesses with a climate strategy.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a closing role, with experience both sourcing your own leads and working with warm leads.
  • A track record of consistent over-achievement against targets (monthly, quarterly, or annually).
  • Experience with a direct sales motion.
  • The customers you’ve worked with previously would have only outstanding things to say about you.
  • You creatively and independently solve problems, you communicate clearly, you’re not afraid to ask for help when you need it, and you’re inherently curious.
  • You’re a pragmatic optimist eager to rapidly grow personally and professionally.

Nice to Have

  • Expertise in corporate decarbonization efforts.
  • Experience working at a startup or other fast-paced, rapidly scaling organization.
  • Comfort selling or upselling transformative SaaS to enterprise customers.
  • Knowledge of industrial customers’ systems, emissions profiles, and/or business needs.
  • Knowledge of private equity and/or experience selling into PE.
