Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines. This role provides administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring renewals, endorsements, and policy data accuracy.

You will work under Account Managers and Producers to prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and assist in proposals while maintaining high service standards. The position emphasizes collaboration, data integrity, and timely communications with clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active license required; CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account teams.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Assist in client research, submissions, and loss run analysis for new and renewal business.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included and accurate.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data accuracy.
