Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager, Account Executive or Producer. You will help ensure renewals, submissions, and policy accuracy while safeguarding against errors and omissions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, policy tracking, endorsements, renewals, and accurate data entry across agency systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing, CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of support staff and account team.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients; renewals processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support submissions, binding of coverage, and follow-ups for policy issuance.
• Assist in reviewing contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain transparent communication with the account team on workload and issues.
• Deliver proactive, responsive service to client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
