Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and assigned accounts. You will work under an Account Manager to ensure quality standards and accurate handling of policy-related tasks.

The role emphasizes client research, renewals, coverage matching, and timely processing, with a focus on service excellence, communication, and collaboration across the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant/Associate
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion
• Maintain clear communication with the account team
• Deliver service excellence and respond quickly to requests
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures
• Seek best practices to improve performance
• Demonstrate IOA values: integrity and leadership
