Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team. This role reports to an Account Manager/Account Executive and aims to ensure production and quality standards while mitigating liability.

You will independently resolve moderately complex client issues and manage small to mid-sized accounts. The position involves policy management, endorsements, renewals, and support for submissions,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct day‑to‑day activities of Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Policy Management: Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Task Processing: Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• New and Renewal Business Support: Prepare submissions, evaluate coverages, bind coverage, and issue policies.
• Contract Review: Assist in reviewing contracts for proper coverages.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor delinquent balances and collect outstanding amounts.
• System Maintenance: Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communication: Maintain frequent updates with the account team on workload and issues.
• Service Excellence: Deliver excellent service and respond quickly to requests.
• Policy Compliance: Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Seek best practices to improve performance.
