Job summary

Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking a Claims Manager for our Accident and Sickness department, onsite at Leader Heights, York, PA. The role directs daily operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates across teams to meet program goals.

You will oversee staff, manage budgets, and drive performance improvements while maintaining high standards of service to insureds and agents. Strong leadership and claims expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Accident and Sickness insurance claims and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policy forms and claims handling procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and claims systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight and supervision of Accident and Sickness staff.
• Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and departmental standards.
• Manage budgeting and coordination with other functions.
• Maintain claim file integrity and prepare accurate reports.
• Develop staff training and performance evaluations.
