Job summary

Glatfelter Insurance Group in York, PA is seeking a Claims Supervisor in our Claims Management Department. The role focuses on day-to-day oversight of a team of commercial liability claim handlers and ensuring compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.

The supervisor will lead investigations, manage performance, and coordinate with insureds, agents, and vendors while promoting excellent service and consistent file integrity. Onsite at Leader Heights office.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent. College degree and Associate in Claims designation preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in insurance claims. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactive supervision of claims handled by assigned staff.
• Uphold customer satisfaction and service to insured, agents, regional directors and others.
• Maintain claim file integrity and accurate data.
• Quality assurance processes.
• Administer attendance and compensation system.
• Deliver performance feedback and coaching.
• Assist with staff training and development initiatives.
