Job summary

Riot Games is seeking an Accessibility QA lead to shape and execute testing across PC, console, and web platforms. You will integrate accessibility into QA strategies, plans, and release readiness while guiding both manual and automated tests using assistive technologies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure WCAG/WAI-ARIA conformance and high player quality. Join a distributed, gameplay-focused team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality assurance with successful product deliveries.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automated testing approaches.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Experience coaching QA team members and external testers.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
• Experience with accessibility testing across digital products and games.
• Ability to conduct flash-rate testing or develop equivalent expertise.
• Understanding of WCAG, WAI-ARIA, Section 508, CVA, EAA.

Responsibilities

• Define accessibility test approaches and integrate into QA strategies, test plans, and release readiness.
• Plan, execute, and guide manual and automated accessibility testing across games, web, and digital experiences.
• Test with assistive technologies and interaction modalities (screen readers, keyboard, controller).
• Conduct accessibility audits and translate findings into actionable stories and remediation guidance.
• Triage and prioritize accessibility risks using impact, severity, and release needs.
• Establish quality metrics and drive continuous improvement from test results and player feedback.
• Create reusable guidance, tools, checklists, and training for product teams.
• Coach QA professionals, external testers, and partners on accessibility test design and reporting.
• Communicate accessibility status, risks, and recommendations across distributed teams.
