Job summary

innovitusa is seeking a Web Accessibility Specialist to lead testing and audits with both manual and automated tools and assistive technologies. You will evaluate WCAG conformance and regulatory requirements, create test plans and scripts, and perform end-to-end and regression testing to ensure quality across web and mobile applications.

You will document defects, collaborate with analysts and clients, and serve as the subject matter expert for accessibility testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
7+ years as a Quality Analyst with QA methodology knowledge.
Hands-on with automated test tools and Jira or GitLab.
In-depth knowledge of ADA tools and standards for accessibility testing.
5+ years in UAT to ensure WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA in agile projects.
Ability to lead QA testers and provide solutions to teams.
Experience using assistive technologies across devices and browsers.
CPWA or WAS certification; knowledge of HTML5 and CSS is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead testing and audit activities using manual and automated accessibility tools.
Conduct accessibility testing to evaluate WCAG conformance and regulatory requirements.
Create and manage test plans, test cases, and scripts across projects.
Perform functional, end-to-end, and regression testing for quality.
Document defects and prioritize critical ADA issues.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Clients to gather requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert for accessibility testing of web/mobile apps.
Provide ad-hoc training and foster ADA awareness and innovation.
