Job summary

TPGi is seeking an Accessibility Tester to help ensure accessibility of technology for people with disabilities and older users, focusing on web, mobile, and native apps. The role thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires prioritization and multitasking across demanding assignments.

The candidate will perform audits, generate audit reports with recommendations, and support development teams to implement accessible solutions while staying current with evolving standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly
• 2 years of website/desktop accessibility testing against WCAG A/AA and Section 508 OR 2+ years of web development/QA
• JAWS experience preferred
• Knowledge of accessibility evaluation tools and methods
• Understanding user needs of people with disabilities and older users regarding web accessibility
• Motivated, quick learner, able to work independently and in a team
• Strong knowledge of accessibility verification tools, assistive technologies, and standards

Responsibilities

• Perform accessibility audits of web pages and desktop applications using testing tools and assistive technology
• Write audit reports describing issues and recommendations for resolution
• Respond to accessibility questions via helpdesk and client calls
• Provide accessibility support to developer teams through consultancy or code contributions
• Keep up to date with developments in accessibility standards
