Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with six years of experience working with college students, or a Master's degree with four years.

Responsibilities

• Rout ine academic advising: communicate requirements and options to facilitate progress toward degree and goals.
• Registration advising/enrollment management: assist during registration, add/drop, course selection, and resolve conflicts.
• Developmental advising: help students plan timely graduation and address academic barriers; refer to resources.
• Orientation advising: assist incoming students at spring, summer, fall orientations and help with first-semester registration.
• Department collaboration: liaise with faculty, staff and leadership on curriculum and program developments.
• Team support/communication: contribute to team meetings and materials; support inquiries.
• Professional development: engage in UT and higher-education training and events.
• University service: participate in committees and events; support departmental objectives.
