Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience in student advising/support programming or Master’s Degree and 3 years in student advising/support programming.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating student development programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with many different units.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Liberal Arts Student Transition Initiatives, overseeing course offerings and FIG/TrIG initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff facilitators and student mentors for transition programs.
  • Oversee orientation logistics, communications, and materials for Spring, Summer, Fall, and family orientations.
  • Develop and manage LA 101 curriculum and transition program materials; coordinate curriculum development with OSE leadership.
  • Manage data metrics for first-year initiatives, including registration, surveys, and engagement tracking.
