Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Sr. Account Manager, AC Power to lead key data center accounts across the territory. You will configure, price, and quote AC Power and Switchgear solutions, engaging with executives to drive cross-selling and solution opportunities.

This role requires travel across the territory, ownership of order management, and a focus on profitability and meeting sales quotas. You will coach team members and drive continuous improvement in AC Power sales within the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, business, or related field.
• Proven large account sales and account management experience in a similar industry.
• Understanding of electrical contractors, consultants, and end users for Data Center applications.
• Knowledge of critical support equipment operations for power and mechanical products.
• Customer-first mindset in internal/external collaborations.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and order pipeline management.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and multi-priority skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a sales plan and pursuit strategy for each existing account and finds new opportunities and new clients, respectively.
• Develops new and strengthens existing relationships as a trusted advisor with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
• Negotiates AC Power and Switchgear opportunities while coordinating with the team for cross-selling opportunities.
• Manages the order to meet customer and consultant requirements to maximize profitability.
• Supports new company initiatives to help the company succeed.
• Achieves increasing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas while maintaining a pipeline at least 3x assigned quota.
